Hispanic Heritage Night at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fl as the Palm Beach Cardinals are defeated by the Tampa Yankees (0-3). Perhaps they were distracted as it was Hispanic Heritage Night for the first time in history, hosted by Gretta Vitta and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County. Spanish singers and salsa dancers were just some of the evening's entertainment along with a special guest appearance of Ms International World. The Palm Beach Cardinals won the following 2 nights of their games against the Tampa Yankees - (6-5) Saturday night and (6-4) Sunday night. |  |
